I met few America students as a voulteer. My team introduced about Korea and the students who were in my group were my nice and paid attention our instruction. Our classmates and America students made craft which was “Hanbok”. Frankly speaking, i was worried that what if boys students mind making Hanbok the reason why i prepared girl’s han bok craft. However they liked to make hanbok regardless of boy or girl. After then, we joined some activity instead of playing tennis. Before starting activity, the instructor asked what they want to do during left time. The students were very creative and they followed her instruction. Moreover i learned important thing through activity. Most of games are divided winner and loser. However this game was different with others, this game could win by helping each others. Every activity is focused on teaching good thing to students not just for fun. Lastly, we helped students do homework or read book.

what?
i met three teenagers and one homeshooling teacher at the public library. i introduced Korea food with them because they were interested in Korea food. Also i had class with Dr. Kirk Richardson’s students and i heard about CSI, education architecture and sports as well as our classmates’ presentation.
So what?
When Dr. Kirk Richardson’s students explain about three topic, actually i did not understand well, for example i thought CSI was about Crime Scene Investigation
, but it seemed like Construction Specifications Institute. Maybe i did not have any information what Dr. Kirk Richardson’s students were supposed to say beforehand. After sending email to them, i received three email so could get some information and answer about what i asked.
At the library i met homeschooling students and a teacher. They paid attention to me and they asked what they did not understand and wondered. Specially the teacher was trying to make her students understand well and she also fix my errors such as spelling and pronounciation.
Now what?
I need to listen carefully and concentrate alot when students speak or explain what i do not know well and i need to check again when i present something to people.
What?
I had the presentation about Korea holiday and travel with Poeple in pubic library. Af first time, i was be with one woman, and then other people came to us at the last part of my presentation. First woman who was with me came from Chicago, so i could get some information about the city which i’m interested in. Also the other man gave me some information to travel in Richmond.
So what?
While i was presentating, one woman came to my group.Actually when she came to me, my presentation almost was about to finisih. So, when she came, i felt a litte bit confused though i ketp going to introduce. But suddenly the woman left in 5 minutes. so i thought my presentation might be not interesting because she left.and i was embrassed. And then as soon as finishing first presentation, the other men came to me with kids. They were very nice and had interest about my presentation and we asked some questions each other and shared information. Specially the woman was really nice and tried to help me and understand my presentation. Also she wrote some interesting thing in my presentation and she said she also will try to make some food she became to know from my presentation.
Now what?
I realized this public library is different with LLL because the people in publich ibrary were in very various position and anyone can’t know who will come to out class time. So, i prepared to meet unexpecting person and strangers beforhand without be embrassed. And actually i forgot some knowledge about my presentation topic compared to last month. When i went to LLL i knew exactly what i introduce, so i could prepare some materials which was important at that topic. But at the public library, i could not expect which topic i will introduce so i could not introduce at the public library as much as at LLL. So i think i need to review whole topic of my presentation before going to public library to not forget knowledge. Also i need to not be confused or embrassed although visitors changed alot.
